As Lydia looks around at all the other bright, spotted ladybirds in the garden, she begins to worry that something is wrong with her. Feeling embarrassed and out of place, she sets off on a journey to try to fix the problem.

 

Lydia searches for a way to make herself look like the other ladybirds. Along the way and feeling defeated, she stops to lay her eggs. When she returns and finds a bloom of happy, spotless ladybirds, she realises that being different is not such a bad thing after all.
